subject: [AusNOG] Happy Birthday WWW and AARNet
I just realised that AARNet turns 20 this year. It seems like yesterday.
We'll have to dig up a network diagram... how much international
bandwidth did we have? I can't remember...
Given that was the same year, and this the same month, Tim Berners-Lee
invented the WWW via his hypertext proposal:

Tim is heading over to Geneva to celebrate at CERN with ISOC:

It seems such a nice coincidence to reflect on that now.
Happy birthday AARNet, WWW
and nice work folks. Keep up the good work.
Cheers
